Sally Barraud was the lovely teacher that joined me for the day at South End School. We shared the philosophy of Click Happy and worked with the students to get them comfortable with Cellphone photography and build on Sally’s training that she had given them already.
We also had a play with the Studio set up and let them experiment with taking portraits of themselves with their Taonga.
The best part of the day seemed to be when they got to do the Rainbow boxes and work with Monochromatic imagery. They knocked it out of the park creating a beautiful collection and adding it to the National exhibition folders. These images will be used in the Rainbow Exhibition expected to be showcased at the Auckland Festival of Photography in June of Next year.
