Napier Library & Tamatea Primary School Visual Poetry Jam Workshop – Napier – (3 November 2023)

25 engaged students plus an engaged teacher, teacher aide and librarian. It was a heaven of a workshop. The grounds were great for teaching the skills as we could shoot both indoors and in the adjacent garden and pond. The ducks provided extra entertainment and challenge. The kids embraced each challenge and the skill development over the day was something to behold. At the start of the day we have them line up on a line to indicate their interest in photography. At the start there was a solid bell curve. By the end they all crowded into the Love photography side. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day for all.
