The workshop was held at the Taupo library during the October School Holidays. We thought that this would add variety to the offerings available to students at the time. The library collaborated with us to advertise the program. In the end we had 8 students attend and spend the day with us learning visual storytelling. The weather was lovely, and we were able to do a walking tour of the city, learning about how to better use our cell phone cameras and free editing software. The students were mostly highschool aged and were interested in learning how to pose for the camera so we did some work on how to get the best angles of people that you are working with. Gritty, our Irish-doodle model, joined us to help teach animal photography as well.
